CaringCrowd | Johnson&Johnson
CaringCrowd® is the free crowdfunding platform for global public health created and operated by Johnson & Johnson to empower everyone to improve global health! Not only is it free – there are usually matching funds available.
Anyone can participate, whether supporting a project or as a campaign leader.
All funds raised go to vetted nonprofits, and a panel of public health professors review each project before it’s allowed onto the platform.
Many nonprofits - and volunteers - have used CaringCrowd® to raise more than $3.2 million across more than 450 successful campaigns for health projects by 129 nonprofits in 40 countries.
The 91% campaign success rate of 2019 far exceeds almost every other crowdfunding platform. That rate is primarily because we help first-time campaigners.
WAYS YOU CAN IMPROVE WORLD HEALTH - FROM YOUR LAPTOP or SMARTPHONE:
There’s a quick and easy way for you to participate in improving the health (and healthcare access) of vulnerable people: click on the Support a Project page, select a project, then pledge or share.
You can also step up to lead a campaign! Many people have enabled meaningful improvement in their spare time. We helped them - and we will help you.

Harvard Medical School Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery (MMSc-GHD)
The Harvard Medical School Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery (MMSc-GHD) program provides training in management, program design, and research that students need to become leaders in the emerging field of global health delivery. The degree-granting program offers a rigorous cross-university curriculum focused on developing the tools needed to perform social and delivery science and policy research in resource-limited settings. The core component of the MMSc-GHD is a field-based mentored research project in global health, culminating in a master's thesis. The mentored research project allows students to participate in the design and conduct an innovative global health delivery project. Beyond developing skills in global health delivery, the thesis gives students opportunity to contribute to the quality of health care delivery at the sites where they work and to contribute to the growing knowledge base that is transforming global health. The MMSc-GHD program connects students with faculty who are leaders in global health and prepares students with the necessary tools to implement projects and programs and to launch productive, fulfilling and successful careers in global health. Upon completion of the program, you will be able to: design and complete rigorous research studies using qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods; identify and address key issues affecting health worldwide; and plan and lead programs to improve health for people in many settings, including settings with limited resources. We invite you to apply and join our community of global health practitioners who are transforming health care in resource limited settings.

Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health -
The Gates Institute conducts and facilitates cutting-edge research in family planning, reproductive health, and population dynamics and translates science into evidence-informed policies, programs, and practice. The Institute works as an innovator, partner, advocate, and convener to bridge the gap between knowledge and implementation and promote access to universal reproductive health and family planning for all.
The Gates Institute believes that the only way to achieve sustainable progress in FP and RH – progress that actually translates into empowerment and choice for women – is through evidence-informed practice and policy that is driven at the country level. We envision an evidence driven world where all persons can make informed reproductive health decisions and have access to services to realize their choices.
To this end, every other year since 2009, each time in a different host country, the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) has brought together the family planning community to share best practices, celebrate successes, and chart a course forward. The ICFP remains the largest scientific conference on reproductive health and family planning in the world.
The ICFP serves as a strategic inflection point for the family planning and reproductive health community worldwide. It provides an opportunity for political leaders, scientists, researchers, policymakers, advocates, and youth to disseminate knowledge, celebrate successes, and identify next steps toward reaching the goal of enabling an additional 120 million women to access voluntary, quality contraception by 2020 – and beyond.
